Lillian Cumic has been creating plant-based recipes for over two decades. A vegan chef, cooking instructor and cookbook author from Sydney, Australia, she made Sendai, Japan her home for 30 years working in the food industry and refining her craft. While running her dining bar as owner/head chef, she shared her passion by instructing clients, friends and colleagues on the wonders and virtues of vegan cooking.
Shortly after moving to Honolulu in December 2018, Lillian started teaching cooking classes; became host of “Lillian’s Vegan World” on ThinkTech Hawaii sharing her passion of the vegan lifestyle and plant-based diet; started Lillian Vegan LLC and was featured as the cover story in the June 2019 edition of CRAVE magazine. Lillian is a gourmet vegan chef hosting full seven-course vegan dining experiences including a Vegan High Tea which is something to behold .
She has nearly 200 plant-based recipe videos on her YouTube channel and Lillian Vegan Face Book page.
Lillian is thrilled and humbled to share her 20+ year career as a chef and recipe creator in her first cookbook “Hawaii: A Vegan Paradise,” showcasing Hawaiian food with a vegan twist.
